Coffee & Conversation with Secondary School Counselors

Thank you to all of the ISL parents who have attended our first two sessions of "Coffee & Conversation with the School Counselors" virtual events. We appreciate your time and collaboration. Your feedback and your shared concerns are greatly appreciated and are crucial in guiding our decisions regarding upcoming topics. We look forward to more of you joining us at future virtual events.

Please keep in mind that your teens might share some common concerns due to the developmental stage they are in. Don’t forget, they all are unique individuals, with their own personalities and strengths, as well as challenges. We cannot expect, nor suggest “one size fits all” solutions. We would like to provide a “toolbox” for you with multiple strategies that can be explored and utilized based on your knowledge, comfort level, and the individualized needs of your teen.

We will be discussing “Parenting with Love and Logic ” and exploring the following: how do I support my teen, set limits, and offer support while allowing my teen to learn from their mistakes.
