Scholarship Program

As an IB World Continuum School focused on making the world a better place through our actions. To this end, ISL has a thriving and highly successful scholarship program. Our scholarship program provides educational opportunities to students from Latvia and positively broadens the diversity of our community as a whole.

For over 10 years, ISL has been supporting high-achieving students from our local communities by awarding scholarships.  Over the years these scholarships have been granted to students from primarily Babite Secondary School, with additional students from Riga 2nd Gymnasium, Riga French Lyceum and Agenskalns State Gymnasium. We are proud to say that 16 of our scholarship recipients have graduated from the ISL Scholarship program.

Graduated students have been accepted to:  University of Edinburgh, University of Geneva, NYU Abu Dhabi, NYU Shanghai, University of Sussex, University of Waterloo, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Savannah College of Art and Design, and many others.

ISL will continue to offer scholarships to enter Grade 10 for two students every year – one scholarship will be primarily reserved for the qualifying Marupe region Secondary School student and second will be available to a student from any other school in Latvia.

The scholarship admissions process will start every year in late February or early March. Announcements will be posted on our Facebook page, Instagram account and in schools around Latvia.
