No school on May 1 and May 4

Dear Parents, Please be informed that next week is a short week, because of public holidays. There will be no school for students on Tuesday, May 1 and Friday, May 4. Even though next week is shorter, we are still running all after school activities during school days. This means that: Monday, April 30th - regular school day with all ASAs. Tuesday, May 1st - no school. Wednesday, May 2nd - regular school day with all ASAs. Thursday, May 3rd - regular school day with all ASAs. Friday, May 4th - no school.

MAP Testing for grades Kgt - Gr. 10

Dear Parents, ISL will be administering our bi-annual Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessments from April 23rd to April 27th. Students from kindergarten (KG) to 10th grade will be assessed in mathematics, reading, and language usage (grammar). These assessments are used to help inform our teaching and learning practices, acting as an external indicator of student attainment, both individually and at the grade level. Please note we do not use these assessments for student placement, or in direct connection to ISL student reports.

International Day

Dear ISL Community, We are excited to announce that our biggest, most fun and colorful celebration of our vibrant and multinational community - International Day - is fast approaching and will take place on April 21st, 4 PM to 7 PM at Kongresu nams, Riga. Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

March 22, 2018

Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences provide parents with updates on their child's progress and opportunities to see their student's work. They also open communication between the school and home. We encourage all parents to attend Parent/Student/Teacher conferences on Friday, March 23 from 10:00am-7:00pm - there will be no school for students, but students are strongly encouraged to attend the conferences with their parents.
