Performing Arts

PYP/Elementary Students

Students in the elementary school have music classes twice a week. Depending on their grade, students may learn to play various instruments, how to read music, and sing different songs. There are also units on acting and music from many cultures.  Grades 4 and 5 may learn to play the ukulele. There are many after school activities in music.

Students also perform in two concerts a year: Winter Concert (Snow Show) in December and International Day in April.  Performances may include a variety of singing, instrument playing and dancing.
