ES Student Council

The International School of Latvia Elementary Student Council is a group of elected students chosen to represent their classes and provide ideas for making ISL an enjoyable place to learn and to have fun.

Students are eligible to be elected to Student Council from Grades 3-5 and are active members in the Elementary School by planning and implementing activities for the community. As members of the Student Council, students gain PYP learner profile and attitude skills while organizing events such as, school dances, Spirit Week, The Elementary School Talent Show, a kindness campaign called Who Cares? I Do!, the holiday gift giving drive called the Angel Tree. Elementary Student Council meetings are held after-school the first Monday of each month, along with occasional meetings during the school day.
