CEESA MS boys soccer tournament

Banned Books week

Next week ISL will celebrate the freedom to read with a Banned Books week in the Media Center. We will look at books that have been challenged and banned it the libraries in the US and other countries. Besides condemning censorship and working to ensure free access to information, we will celebrate the fact that despite banning efforts we are still enjoying “Harry Potter” by J.K. Rowling, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain, “Bridge to Terabithia” by Katherine Paterson, and “If I Ran the Zoo” by Dr.Seuss.
